Shouldn't MP5 fit into backpack?

Recommended Posts

All weapons carried by the player should be, more or less, visible on the player.

If I'm carrying an M4A1, an MP5K, and a 1911... I should have the M4A1 in my hands, the MP5K on some sort of sling, and the M1911 in a holster.

I don't want the precedent of amorphous "spaces" being carried over, where weapons just magically zorp into existence because a backpack has 30/30 slots and a weapon only takes up 15.

And yes, I recognize that in real life you can conceal weapons. But until that's actually represented in-game with a given item, I want all weapons carried by the player to be visible whilst being carried.

And what about making it so, that only items you could put on hotbar and instantly access would be stuff in your jacket, tac vest and pants?

Anything in backpack would not be accessible while running and pressing TAB would make your avatar stop, kneel and do backpack search animation.

I mean that would surely make stuff in backpack harder to use and I think it would add to the gameplay.

While I would prefer if most weapons were visible on players, in reality pistols and some very small SMG can be concealed on human body without big problems.

I'm trying to say that I don't see a problem with players taking out pistol or SMG, but I would hate if they could pull out unseen AKM or M4 or anything big.

Wish that at one point we will get holsters for machettes or knives. Hate when they float above our backs, looks so ugly.
