Should have used the stairs....oh waiit :D

 

Stairs and ladders are known player killers since day 1. Wait for official fix.

 

Until then don't use them or risk yer life. Alpha hue.

This kind of ladder-death is new to me. In this video from this user u hear a zombie in the near too.

As if invisible zombie punched the player from the ladder away to the ground into the instant-death.

 

By the way, repeating an error holds it in memory.
