Steam Version All Messed Up

My steam version has always been acting buggy and it slows the game down a lot dropping my fps :(

Is there like, any way I could ever get something like a Non Steam version? Maybe it will help. Thanks a whole bunch!!

It isn't your steam. This is an unoptimized Alpha version, meaning 30 FPS on a gaming PC is great. 60 is amazing.

Well my fps is fine it just every now and then I get fps spikes so that it jumps down and than up, however the game will crash and then I get sounds and pop ups and alerts from steam and stuff.

I just really want a non steam  version, if there's a way I'd appreciate you telling me :D
