50% of the time guns are silent, actually unhearable even from point blank range, and sometimes this kills some of our crew because we cant gage where shots are coming from

I have a really nice set of audio technica cans and a sound card...the amount of random sounds i hear on parts of the map beside the regulars is retarded constant footsteps and the gear rattling sound is the worst pushes paranoia to the max. What I'd like fixed the most is how fucking noisy the environment sound is its overpowering
