Skateboards.

This will never happen but dreamers can dream! :)

 

Long Boards and Short Boards. Both can be carried in your hands but not placed in your pack unless you find the "Skater Pack" which carries around 20 slots but also a skateboard on the back.

 

Wheels, Trucks, and Boards are all damageable and lootable items. There could be offroad wheels but thats a deeper issue, so lets stick to road use only. The go a bit faster than sprinting on flat roads (20-25mph), much faster than running on downhills (30-35mph), and are slower on any uphill roads without a built up momentum to carry you up them. They come with an added negative of being noisy, louder than a bike but quieter than a car. And can be picked up at any time and carried. They can also be placed on the ground and "saved" in that location on that particular server. 

 

Want this so bad. Bikes are cool, put I would skip even a car for a skateboard just for the fun factor alone. :P
