Oddy-B 5 Posted June 28, 2014 Hi I was hoping someone could help or point me in the right direction.I was reading the following post on the steam updates for dayz/arma2oahttp://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/198513-arma2-oa-beta-patch-system-update-admins-clients-please-read/ I followed the instructions to create a fresh install using the steamCMD I have no idea what I should do next. Do I do it the same way as before and copy all my game files from the steam game folders, then merge the new file into them? Is there and "Idiots" step by step guide to installing a clean dayzmod 1.8.1 server correctly through steamCMD? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
kichilron 8550 Posted June 28, 2014 Please note that tehre are currently massive problems with the latest Beta Patch (125402), resulting in DayZ no longer working with that Beta Patch. Please only ever install the Beta Patch the DayZ Patch is recommended to use with, anything else can't be assured working Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Oddy-B 5 Posted June 28, 2014 The first attempt broke the one server I had resulting me to start fresh. I have followed the post as instructed to install the steam updated server files.This has completed but no DayZmod files are included.
