Boot Camp DLC

Recommended Posts

So, after playing the mod for a few weeks, I thought of an idea that would help both players and developers if it was implemented:

•A $5 DLC (free for the 'supportive version' owners of the game) that would include a small boot camp that would use small sections of Chernarus+ to practice flying, shooting, driving, and maybe survival scenarios.

This would be great, and this would help (relatively) new players find their way.

Thanks,

Nathan E.

EDIT: Free*

Also, new content would come to boot camp after the content gets pushed to stable.

You have that for free if you have Arma 2 or/and Operation Arrowhead.

Not the same game though. Standalone is SOOOO much different than the mod.

But even so, we should have something like this suggested boot camp for free added to game.

I don't like this idea, players should practice their skills in game, if they want to practice shooting, then they have to find a gun in game and find a target to practice on

I don't think you are allowed to use the DLC word on these forums

Also there's no way a boot camp could teach you anything about interacting with or combating real players, because real players are COMPLETELY BATSHIT and there's no way a computer could ever simulate the stuff they do

you just have to live it

imho I wouldn't want to encourage packets of the game to be given out as DLC, also they devs said that the problem with development is more staffing related then cost.

Still has a lot of general similarities.
