Cannot load material file.

Title says it all, i get an error message stating it cannot load the material file. Not just any file (no path of file appears), but all of them. So there's no buildings, zombies, anything, just me in a dead empty space. Lol!

What can I do?

could you please provide me with info on how to do that?

 

later edit: i've just found it, verifying as we speak

 

even later edit: verifying cache had no effect, deleted game, i'll try reinstalling it

Maybe try running as admin (DayZ.exe -> properties)? Just to make sure it's not related to user rights.

 

Try deinstalling (I know, again) but before installing it again, check if Steam\SteamApps\common\DayZ ist really gone.

Also, before you install, check the download folder (SteamApps\downloading) and remove anything DayZ related.
