AKM Side Rail RIS Adapter.

At present the Only available Optic for the AKM is the PSO1 Scope, which is partly accurate, however the addition of other optics already present in the game are in fact possible, if the following itemis added:

This utilizes the same side rail as the PSO1 scope but instead mounts a standard rail for the attachment of other optics, for example those used on the M4A1 Platform, the ACOG, RDS1, and M68 Optics. THis would allow a great customization of all AK pattern rifles in the game as long as they are modeled after those with the side rail.

 

Other optics that could also be introduce are the KOBRA red dot that was seen numerous times in original Arma 2

Also perhaps and M4 Buffer tube stock adapter as well? to allow the addition of M4 style stocks to the rifle to give it even more customization.

IMHO instead of using a side rail adapter they should just put a top rail on their already out RIS handguard, and let us mount RDS's on that rail. Pretty much like that : http://www.mountsplus.com/images/products/ak/ak1.jpg

 

Instead of releasing the m4 stock, right now they should concentrate on attachments that really work : Suppressors (WORKING ONES, no fake cans like the m4 and pistols), Vertical forward grips, Some NVG compatible red dot sights (EOtech 552-551 comes to mind), and maybe the ability to tape two 30 rounders like they originally said at the release of the alpha? That's just my 2 cents

Pretty much every red dot the military uses like the M68 CCO is already NVG compatible. The first few settings are only visible with NVGs.
