the next char is dead full equip after 3 weeks in woods .....   

 

It can not be , that your character is to see in game when you have no controls over him !    you have a connection lost or your game crash or your pc.   you are in the town  and now the char  stand still after crash for  20 seconds in the town  and player or zombis can easy kill him - that's make me angry !

 

the same is when you join -  you see a black desktop with please wait.  or a timer and after the timer a please wait.  and your char is the complete time in the game and stand still ! zombis can attack them and player can kill them.......     i have now 3 deads  or ruint  items fractures   - bad when you have found very rar items,  and the items now all down .....

 

ist very bad to jion after a crash in a town or near on a airfield -   dead chance 75%   before you can respond.  this is pretty frustrating.

Then 99% of players will have a "crash" when surrounded by zombies for exemple or something. 10 second spawn protection...c'mon like in Unreal Tournamet? No but seriously it would be abused and exploited.

 

And on topic, I know easier to say then done but playing with a friend that can watch over you if you crash in town is the best.

the point is when <you rejoin and you have the black screen you have no chance  ! your char is in the game and you wait oudside from controlls !!!!! and the zombis come and you can made and see nothing - for you in front from your monitor is  a  nice - please wait .... please wait .....   and in the same time zombis kill your char - is that  good ???????

It would be abused and exploited by players to not only cheat in PvE but also to combat log and ghost people and probably more.

 

You see, when you fight for greater cause you always have to spill some innocent blood.

Well actually I have to admit now that I don't see a way how a invulnerable "please wait" phase could be exploited. Maybe make it possible to handcuff someone who is logging in. All this with a subtle notification that someone logged in (for the other players) and that someone is near you (for the one who joined, only around20 meters) should actually make it better.

Even if I don't have any problems with the actual system, I got attacked by a zombie once during the logging in process, but nothing worse happened.
