Stomping

Recommended Posts

I think a stomping option would go well in DayZ.  Why double tap and waste precious ammo when you can just stomp your problems out?

Actually I think rifle but is better, you'd need the right boots for stomping or you'd be there a while.

Perhaps you could stand on their head while you take your axe out though that would be cool.

Better than having to run around hit 2 and wait for 10 seconds before your guy actually takes the axe out while the zombies is chasing you relentlessly.

Yeah lets add gears of war 3 executions to unconscious people hell I wouldn't stop playing this game.  Each weapon has its unique execution. I might even turn into a bandit if this happens.

Generally speaking,i think the melee system should be redefiened as a whole first.

Along with stomping, things like dodge/fall animation/defence stance/kicking/grabbing and etc should be added as well.

Because imho,i find it rather pointless, only having a stomping animation with the bad current fighting system.

This would make fist wielding maniacs abit too op if you ask me, but it would be pretty good for zombies. Knock the fucker down then stomp his head instead of having to spam it with your fists.

coup de gras would be a very nice addition to the immersion of fighting zed close up.  as well as saving ammo, and dealing with unruly captives
