Are heli crash sites random?

I found one by the airfield that's sort of in the middle of the map near the top, is it always there or do they just spawn randomly around the map?

 

If not I think they should always spawn randomly since despite making M4's less common it would still just be a case of spawn, run to nearest heli crash site, find godly weapon, murder everything.

They'll probably be random at some point, but right now they are at fixed locations, but spawns random on server restarts.

 

Edit: The locations are the same, but they don't always appear on each server restart.
