Has anyone seen M4 Ammo/Clips since 45.124426

I might just be incredibly unlucky but I've cleared the NW airfield 4 times just after server restarts and I've found zero M4 ammo/clips. Before 45.124426 these things were everywhere. Has anyone 5.62 ammo/clips since the patch?

 

Also I had a ammo case full of 5.62 rounds but when I removed the ammo from the case it disappeared. I tried dropping it into bags, loading clips and switching servers. So it's all gone and I can't seem to find more. Down to my last 2 clips.

They are only at heli crash sites now. Also your ammo disappeared because the 60 round stacks from before the patch were not intended and considered a bug, they now come out of the coupled mags as two stacks of 30.

it is possible to find 556 ammo outside of chopper crashes but it is much rarer than other ammo types. M4s, mags, M68, RDS and acog only spawn at chopper crash sites now. You would be wise to drop that M4 once you find an akm and some mags. Much easier to find ammo and quality Pso scope, the ridicuous sway not with standing.

Thanks Amias. Thats crazy only crash sites... I checked the smoking helicopter twice on the runs through the nw airfield and nothing. Plus it's out in the open so you're easy bait for Mosin snipers. Basically the m4 now is useless because the rounds are so rare... Might have to trade it in, 7.62 is everywhere.

It's 5.56 ammo. (Small typo maybe.) Like Amias said, they spawn at helicopter crashes only lately. You can fin those crashes around the NWAF. There's one confirmed near the tarmac in the middle of the said airfield, one north west of the military base around coordinates  (43 , 68)  and one that I found at (22 , 47) north of Lopatino. (Yes, gamma and brightness are cranked up so you can see the said crash.)

Thanks Odin Lowe. 5.56 is what I meant. Serves me right for bitching on the internet before I've had coffee. I'll have to check out the other crashes.

I have yet to find an akm or m4 since the patch. Couple of SKSes and Mosins but full-auto weapons are more rare now, which is great.
