petetheEat 15 Posted June 20, 2014 I was fiddling around with the brightness and I couldn't get it quite right so I reset the settings to default and then the screen went really fuzzy and the ui got all messed up. what happened and how do i fix this? I have not had this problem before, every time i reset it to default it kept working fine.
MartyB(><}TA 1 Posted June 20, 2014 I had this. Still trying to sort. best advice ive had so far was to edit your dayz.cfg and edit the resolution and render. Try that. Didnt fix it for me but it might work for you. Good Luck
Jarmil_Prdel 3 Posted June 20, 2014 this helped to me: GenevaHelicopter HunterMembers54 postsLocationAuckland, New ZealandPosted Yesterday, 11:49 AMI had the same issue when changing video setting whilst playing. It went to something like 980x600, looked like Doom95! If you have an Nvidia card, use Geforce Experience to optimise settings and it went back ok. Then I was able to change video setting after the splash screen and game ran ok.
zeeabo 92 Posted June 20, 2014 Aspect ratio has most likely reset to 4:3.Set it to 16:9 and raise your resolution.

Survivor_Ted 269 Posted June 20, 2014 (edited) Sorry, I'm a bit rubbish at these things, how do i do that?If you have an Nvidia graphics card, you should have something called GeForce Experience. Go into that, then go to games and simply select DayZ and optimize it. Nvidia will optimize it accurately based on your computer specs, some of these things may be correct, and some may not be. The importance is that it helped me when I got the 'fuzzy screen'. Edited June 20, 2014 by Survivor_Ted
