theirongiant 200 Posted June 21, 2014 (edited) My problem with night time is that it's unrealistically dark, go out into the countryside during the night and once your eyes have adjusted you can see quite clearly. What does happen is that lower ranges of darkness get crushed together so that areas in shadow become uniformly dark. Unless you're in a room with zero light or in very deep forest you never experience 'dayz night'. Ironically boosting up the gamma is a more realistic representation of what you see at night. Time acceleration will be a godsend, allowing you to set the length of night so that it's something you could go through in a session rather than as 12h thing. Imo of course.
