Alright! New patch! Is the death matching still in Berezino/NEAF?

I heard people are migrating to Star Sobor and Zelenogorsk for new PvP and death match, does anyone know if it's still in Berezino because me and my friends are aching for some PvP right now  :)  :beans:  :beans:  :beans:  :beans:  :beans:  :beans:

Actively seeking out PvP ruins the excitement for me, as opposed to random confrontations.

I like to be aware of my own mortality in DayZ, thanks.

NEAF always has something if not freshspawns then serverhoppers.

Part of the problem with dayz.

 

It feels far too forced and the gameplay is never fluid enough.

 

Random encounters are far too unlikely as people tend to not be forced into uncomfortable situations.

 

They follow a set routine.

 

Spawn, loot or server hop for gear, go the closest pvp area and repeat.

Star Sobor and Zelenogorsk? You could at least have tried mentioning some more likely locations like Novo.

The "North" is pretty crowded lately. We killed a lot of people from Stary to NWEA so yes, you will find a lot PVP up in the North. 

Since M4´s and 5.56 ammo does spawn in HCs only now and you have a lot of potential HCs in the North people go there more. Plus the new spawn areas where you are closer to the m-bases/airfields in the north than to Balota. I for myself haven´t seen the coast for ~1month now and constantly meet/kill people in the North.

So, what are people supposed to do then? Not spawn, spawn either way, not loot, and go to the end of the map to take pictures of grass? xD

The problem is not the players but the spawn system it makes it far too easy for players to fall to their normal routine.

 

They always follow the same paths the same loot patterns and then die the same in heavily populated pvp zones.

Cycling spawn locations could be interesting.

 

We kinda already had them. It ended in mass suicides in Solnichnyi.

True. I would like a spawn system where you can spawn everywhere around the map. No place is untouched, except for Airfield/Military Base spawns. :P

I was a big fan of that one guys idea a while back on reddit.

 

Spawn in houses anywhere in the map have the players screen fade to black and the character laying down on a bed or sofa waking up.

 

This would have the player distribution evenly spaced.

 

 

This would also eliminate the potential problem of spawning right in the middle of someones base or close to someones stash.

I don't see a problem with spawning next to someone's stash. It would be their fault for not hiding it good enough. You got to hide your stashes super far away from the map. :P

Well back in the mod, I got my routine as well. I was mostly migrating to NW towards Vybor, so I took one of my usual routes to get there, depending on where I spawned.

Same is happening in mod with the exception that atm, everybody spawns in the east, hence the number of paths to get to NW is smaller.

 

Anyway I'm glad they reintroduced heli crashes, that is 1st incentive to travel west in a long time and I welcome it !

 

Now maybe if they add unique NATO outpost somewhere beyond NWA, that would spawn mostly nato gear (guns + clothing), maybe that would be the new north west airfield holy grail of loot.

But for this to work, we would ofc need more loot for diversification, which is missing atm.

Neither do I but alot of people do.

I'm going to be an asshole here and just say that alot of people are weaklings and want alot of "support" features that help them. That is just my opinion though.
