blunce 991 Posted June 19, 2014 (edited) Hey everyone, generally simple question. So we all know that with the new stable build, M4s are now spawning at heli crash sites only. Now my question is, does this apply to M4 mags & attachments as well? Can M4 mags be found at airfields & police stations still? What about attachments such as Magpul handguards & buttstocks? What about boxes of 5.56 rounds? What about optics? ACOG, M68, RVD1? I've only had my first 3 hour session on the current build last night. Elle 562 Posted June 19, 2014 gee I just left a crash site and it was all helmets, handguns and ammo. there were no mags or attachments oh I did find a beret too. I have seen video from the crash sites from experimental that do show mags and attachments however so there is hope. in case ya haven't done it yet I highly recommend helicopter hunting. it takes you far from cover and concealment and leaves you well in reach of M4, AKM, Mosin and SKS. nothing like standing in the middle of a field feeling like a fly on a piece of typing paper... took almost 40 mins to get the courage to fast run that wide open space too. Looks like they're still spawning outside of helicrash sites, but fewer than before. Anyway as you are saying, I did find 3 40 mags, ammo, one 60 mag, an ACOG, M86, RVD1 sight, plus a Prestine RIS. Note though that the ACOG and most sights were damaged. However, in the exp you could still find stacks of 5.56 ammo at military places, but I think they may have removed those as well. At least during my roamings in current stable, as I haven't seen any. Khanarac 252 Posted June 19, 2014 (edited) Yes, M4 weaponparts are now crashsite only aswell..and my precious m4 just got taken by a hacker -,- curiously after I killed a 6 guy squad all armed with AKMs, and curiously about 6-8 AKM mags on each individual. I think I saw the 20round packets of m4 ammo still in military buildings. Also note that the M4 got buffed. I just hope heli crashes spawning in air fields are a rare occurance. Just doesn't make too much sense having high value loot spawn where there is already high value loot to be found.
