Got in on one of the pacific servers. Apparently they restarted it and seemed to fix things, I'm not big on night time with the way flares are in first person. Right in the way and impossible to see and since most servers are 1st person only id rather play in the light. Still cant get into EU servers tho where most friends play

Believe me, you'll learn to love the night, just get some time during the day to get some things up, know where you spawn, and you know what to do.

Well im on a fresh spawn so not doing to hot for night play. Logged out yesterday after spending an hour with low blood and finally got killed when a friend was tryin to get me blood bags.

I feel like im jumping hurdles here...I finally connect to Oz server, after ~3 hours (no exaggeration), and yep, you guessed it, stuck on loading screen.

Not to flog a dead horse, but I 99.9% of the time I have tried to join a server I get stuck on the loading screen.

When the servers reset I have no problems until I lose connection. Then it's a crapshoot from there.

before getting stuck on loading screen i get this message 'no entry bin\config.bin/cfgglasses.ACE_NONE'

Don't need to worry about that I don't think. I get those messages regularly ever since I started playing multiplayer

I'm having this issue as well, and it's infuriating, I tried Griff fix but it only worked the first time I tried it, what bothers me most is you cant even tap esc and go back it completely locks the game up with a fully loaded bar with 'loading' under it.

Griff's solution only worked for the first time. Spent like 20 minutes connecting then died right after 5 minutes because zombie knocked me out. Had so much stuff. God damn.

The error is happening because peoples characters are "null"

I'm adding some more debug information and checks to the next update (1.4.10) which will be out shortly. If it doesn't fix it, it will provide more information

I get this error message.

ERROR: creating weapon pipebomb with scope=private.

I press continue and I get stuck on loading.

I tried on US 1-2 and 4 and EU 1-2, I get the same error on all servers.

BAM! I left it for a good hour and tried several times, no avail. (This was on the OZ2 server)

It's that or I get Loading Character screen with the Retrieving Data... along with the lobby overlaying the Loading Character screen. It loads my character but I'm in the empty field and the Retrieving Data doesn't go away.
