What's the status on deseases in EXP?

Recommended Posts

I got sick but not sure what caused it, either it was because I got hit by a zombie, I drank from a pond or that it was overcooked(burned) meat that I eat...any ideas what of the 3 things I mentioned it could be?

Yes, I have healed, thanks for caring:). But I would like to know what causes desease in the current exp build, so I can avoid it...

it was the overcooked meat, water and zombies can't make you sick at the moment. Now get some bedrest and drink plenty of fluids.

My bet is on the meat, since the other two are not yet implemented to my knowledge.

I understand your logic that if the other two haven't been implemented that it must have been the burnt meat, but I can't think of any RL situation where burning meat would make you sick. Do you think they may have "burnt" and "under cooked" set to the same parameters by accident? If so should it be reported?

The whole thing is pretty buggy at the moment, i timed it and it took exactly 15 minutes to cook my wild boar steaks. It then took around another 15 seconds(!) for them to burn which i'm guessing will be changed. I agree that undercooked is far more dangerous than overcooked. I mean unless you burn food so badly that its completely carbonizes, in which case it essentially becomes inedible, then it wouldn't make you ill. Indeed if your eating wild animals it would be wise to deliberately overcook the meat just to be sure that all the bacteria have been killed and all the virus's denatured.
