Direct communication keeps freezing

Everytime i hold down caps lock for direct communication, it freezes for a few seconds and i am not quite sure why. If anyone knows of a reason why it could be doing this, please tell me as it is driving me crazy and is really ruining my gaming experience.

Press Escape - open Configure - Controls - Assignments - from drop down list choose - Multiplayer - then change the CapsLock to a different key like the \ key and try that instead.

 

If it causes the same problem then more investigations may be required. I changed my CAPS lock to the \ key because I hate CAPSLOCK :P

is dayz the only game that it freezes??

So i change it to '\' and it still does the same thing. Caps lock doesn't freeze anything else, it is just when i use direct communication in game and obviously that takes out part of the fun.
