Lan Problems

Hello. So, my brother and I have recently installed the game for the first time and whenever we try to join a server but it wont let us. Some people told us it was that we were on the same server at a time. Whenever I joined a server by myself I could get on but Not with him. Plz Help!!!!!

One of you needs to add this to your Launchparamaters in Steam:

-port=2320

How to change launchparameters:

 

  1. Rightclick Game on Steam.
  2. Go to "Properties"
  3. Select "Set Additional Launch Paramaters"
  4. Add the Above.

Are you both on different PC's/laptops? Do you have separate steam accounts? I know those are silly questions but my daughter and I have been able to play Dayz at the same time with no issues.
