Keeps directing me to main menu

Ok so i just started playing dayz mod like 3 days ago and the first day i had virtually no problems at all. after that i was getting error desciption.sqf not found when trying to join servers. but i deleted everything a redownloaded and it was working fine for a while. now the problem is when i try to join a server the "Waiting for Host" text pops up for maybe 1-2 secs and then i end up back to the main menu btw no error message pops up i just get directed to main menu >:( i have the right version that the server has and i use dayz commander. i downloaded dayz on steam and epoch threw dayz commander. please help i wanna kill some zombies. :p

Just for more info to help you help me, this is what happens :p I open dayz Commander and join the server i usually join (adk server) then arma opens. the screen is black and then the big Epoch icon come on the screen. after that it says "Wait for Host," for about 1-2 seconds and then the screen flahes and boom im at the main menu of DayZ/Arma OA >:( please help hope that helped u more to fix my problemo :/

Have you tried different servers? This sounds like a serverproblem more than a problem on your side - you should always try joining different servers.

 

As well as making sure you're running both the correct version of the Mod and the Beta?

 

The mod version should either be 1.8.1 for Vanilla DayZ Mod or 1.0.4.2 for Epoch.

 

The Beta Version should either have 1.62 or 1.63 at the beginning. The last six digits of that version usually are in the server name and must match correctly.

 

You can check if the Mod and Game has launched properly if you get thrown out to the Multiplayer Screen. Do not close the game. Instead, go to the mainmenu and tell us what versions are displayed on the bottom right of your screen.

Ok thnx so much i tried a different server and it worked yr the best bro and if i have any further wuestions or problems i will post aagain on here thnx again
