Rocks, and stuff related to them

I have a lot of trouble dealing with rocks. I climb on them and I might fall through them to my death. And currently I accidentally had a mosin in hands and ate food, the mosin dropped - no problem, I see it, I'll just pick it up... but no, it's on the rocks, it's as if it doesn't exist even though I can see it and it's right there in front of me! Other than simply avoiding rocks, any suggestions?

How many times I've dropped an ammo box / rifle on a rock or under a tree...

 

Cardio is always good, add a little serpentine while you are at it.

The rocks in the SA aren't quite as bad as the ones in the mod, in the mod you were pretty much guaranteed to break your legs walking on any rocks, now you can kinda move around on them with no too much worry.  That said, never trust them.
