Boaseee 0 Posted May 30, 2014 Hi guys! Today I logged into a server on DayZ Epoch at 11am GMT and after being on for around 2 minutes the server was restarting in one minute. At this point I was in the trader city at Stary Sobor with my MTVR. So I locked my MTVR and quickly ran outside of the trader zones and logged out. When loading up DayZ Commander I noticed, whilst waiting for the server to come back online, that my arma was out of date, so i updated to latest patch and then tried to join the server again. I got the error, bad version server rejected or something along those lines. So i googled how to fix this, ended up making OA version 1.00 again and then updated to the version i was previously when i successfully logged on. Everything seemed to of loaded fine, i heard the trees moving in the wind and some birds, which then disappeared as normal, then my screen displayed 'requesting character data from server' and then was stuck there for 20 mins. I have tried reinstalling battleye, i have tried reinstalling arma OA, I have deleted all my profiles except the default one, all have not fixed this problem. I have been trying to fix ever since 11 this morning, so that was around 4 hours ago. A day of base building and AI Missions is now wasted and I just need to have this fixed! I have tried other servers that are running the latest version but i get the same problem. I have also tried to find contact details for the server owners and admin, i managed to find one on twitter but he has still not replied. I hope one of you clever lot can sort me out! thank you! r4z0r49 4761 Posted May 31, 2014 Epoch is not DayZ for starters. You may wish to contact epoch to find out whats going on. As far as i'm being told (i dont use steam) nothing the dayz update did should have effected epoch as they reside in different folders and the steam version of dayz does not install the arma 2 beta by default.
