Didn't watch the video, but this is what survival is about, especially with hunting / cooking being implemented. I always ignore people and lonewolf it, it's a legit way of playing the game. Especially in a sandbox game there is no "correct" way of playing the game, you just make out of it what you want to. Of course there isn't your a correct way of playing this but I am talking about the average player, the average player is generally impatient and wants to have the most fun as possible in the shortest amount of time.
