I found a great guide for beginners on youtube :) It really helped me out

I am watching a guy tell people in a guide to completely avoid people or else they will "take your hard earned stuff with sniper rifles and machine guns" This isn't a good guide, 90% of people who will listen to this will get bored out of there mind. Human interaction is what make the game amazing.

Didn't watch the video, but this is what survival is about, especially with hunting / cooking being implemented. I always ignore people and lonewolf it, it's a legit way of playing the game. Especially in a sandbox game there is no "correct" way of playing the game, you just make out of it what you want to. In my case it's living in the woods being on my own - and I know a lot of other people do it as well.

Good point and I play the same way too. Of course there isn't your a correct way of playing this but I am talking about the average player, the average player is generally impatient and wants to have the most fun as possible in the shortest amount of time. This is why I said most players but not all.

Probably your best bet for survival is to avoid as much human contact as possible.  Let's be honest, more times than not such encounters are going to end up with someone dead.

It's decent. I could of definitely used something like this when i first started out! Ignore the hate. Good job :)
