How do I clear history?

I want to erase my server history because it is filled with over half the servers now which makes it utterly useless. I realize that programming a 'erase history' button is probably really really hard and time consuming(unless you took some simple scripting class in High School of course but who does these days?) so I am willing to manually erase it from my computer files if it is stored client side. 

 

Any guides out there on reddit or otherwise someone could link or explain here how to do it?

Note: This will also clear your favorites

That is a sacrifice I am willing to make, thank you very much for posting this as everyone I play with will be using it until they give us a proper option.

 

PS: I tried just deleting "History" and everything after in hopes my favorites would be remembered but that did not work.

My post was sarcasm to point out that clearly the Devs could add this with 5 minutes of work that 95% of the players in the game would use constantly. They are clearly not incompetent nor so time crunched this cannot be added so it is a matter of 'we do not care' since players have been asking for this since Dayz 1(lul sorry).

 

I do not blame you for misunderstanding my post, you are just a typical game groupie who probably has fantasies that by mindlessly defending Dayz at every turn Dean Hall might hire you while not realizing that in doing so you needlessly crap on posts that do not deserve it only creating more haters than there otherwise would be.
