DayZ Commander: Dayz Corrupt, can't repair...

Hello everybody,

I downloaded the new DayZ Mod patch through steam earlier today. After downloading it my DayZ Commander says that my DayZ is corrupt. I clicked repair, but this error message shows up every time I try.

Can anybody help me please, as I have no clue what to do. :/

If you're downloading it through Steam you do not need to repair it through DayZCommander? There is no need for that, it's just one of two methods to install, not both of them.

I only installed it through steam, but then DayZ Commander says it was corrupt. I didn't download anything new on Dayz Commander.

When I try to join a game it gives this error message:

include file z\addon\dayz_code\system\mission\description.sqf not found.

There was an update for DayZ Mod today. Current version is 1.8.1. Make sure you're joining a server that is running that version. If you want to play 1.8.0.3 then do not use the Steam Version, use DayZCommander.

I just got it to work.

I reinstalled Dayz Mod on steam and then checked DayZ Commander again. It sayd corrupt gain but this time when I pressed it, it just started downloading the new patch, where it gave an error message before. Anyway, it is up to date now so I can play again :) Thanks for your help, time and effort. :)

DayZCommander will be updated to 1.8.1 soon as well.

Hi i have the same problem and i tried what you did and it didnt work for me it all started yesterday when i tried downloading dayz epoch when i tried to download dayz epoch it would come up with a red exclamation mark and now today when i went on dayz commander it says dayz corrupt and when i try repare it did the same thing you did ps i dont know if this is got to do with this but every mod says (EG DayZ Aftermath (not found)  plz help!!!!!!!!

Download the new update through steam.
