Main Menu bugged out?

So upon starting the game and on the main menu, I am unable to see my character and the environment? here's a screenshot; http://postimg.org/image/d82u0fvhp/

 

as you can see, the menu screen is just blank, no character or environment.

 

How would I fix this?

When game loads go to options and just click on the video tab.

Works  for most people.

Better post your specs / OS and in game settings.

Have you set any start up parameters in the launch options ?
