hello, i am a little bit confuse. can someone explain is this a real day z? This is site dayzgame.com and there is someone else day z http://dayzmod.com/

and what is this day z? 

??

i bought this game few days ago and im newbie. so please help me get straight.

So there is 2 type of dayz. There is DayZ Mod and DayZ Standalone. Mod was originally created by Dean "Rocket" Hall to Arma 2 + Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead. Later on Bohemia helped Dean make DayZ as its own game, as it was so popular. That game is called DayZ Standalone and is under developement at the moment. So both sites are kinda right, but here you cn talk about both :)

If you paid 23€ or the same amount in dollars etc, yes you bought standalone. And yes, that video is from arma.

and when im trying to connect some server it shows me something like this server is using another version. what is that? and i saw some new weapons and more crafting in website. in which servers i can test that? sorry for my bad english.

You have to join the experimental branch of the game. To do that you need to, right click on the game name in steam library, go to properties then when the box appears click on the last tab, I think it is called betas. On the drop down box select opt in to beta or something to that effect. It will then download a patch, this one being about 700mb. Then join the game as normal.

 

If you want to go back to the stable version follow these instructions again

This is DayZ standalone. The game is currently in development. This game is survivor simulator. This require nothing then 1 time payment.

You can play stable Branch or Experimental Branch.

 

This is DayZ Mod. This game is more of a military survival simulator. This require Arma2 and Arma2 Operation arrowhead(Combined Operations)
