my biggest problem

Recommended Posts

I can deal with zombies hitting me from 5 meters away, falling through walls n dying, gear falling though the floor. I understand its an alpha. What really bugs me is the people cheating. Its hard enough surviving a legit gun fight. But it sucks when people know exactly where you are even hiding in the Forrest in a bush. People should all have to play on the same level.

Cheating will always exist on any game to some degree or another, just dont give them what they want if possible

Think of it like this:

1. This is Alpha

2. People cheat because they know it is Alpha, it is easier to cheat

3. BattlEye does a great job and updates to keep up

4. DayZ gets updated with more anti-cheat measures

5. People eventually get banned

6. Cheaters have to repurchase the game for over 20 $

7. Game development quality and strength increases as more anti-cheat measures are put into effect

8. Developers realise a steady-income instrument is available to them at all times. Ban the hackers

9. Game quality increases from strengthed development in all aspects through increased profit

10. Game gets better -> more fun -> more popular -> more attractive to cheaters -> parasitic self-sustained development with the hackers being the losers -> No crappy Valve markets or DLC mayhems

11. Effective consequences: Always a few, steady-number hackers, better and more popular game, less impact of hackers on the average player
