High Ping, Excessive Kicking

Recommended Posts

-note- I used the search function, but couldn't find anything pertaining to my specific issue. If a mod runs up on this and knows of a thread that addresses this specifically, I request a link to said thread and that this one be locked promptly.

So, I was gettin' ready to have a long, fun evening of DayZ Mod after getting back from a trip to Denver.

However, I get onto DayZ Commander, and I see that most of the servers have 1000+ Ping. No biggy, I see a couple with around 120, not good but not 1000+.

So, I log into these, but no matter which server I try, (they are all public servers, some of which I've gone onto before.) I am kicked. I don't really understand my issue, but I understand that the Hive went down yesterday. (possible DdoS attack by some lowly troll?)

Anyway, any suggestions would be great. It should also be noted that a storm is passing through right now, and that I live in the US.

Thanks in advance :)
