Player spawn locations

Does your new character try to spawn near your previous (now dead) character? I purposely died more than 10 times just so I could spawn on the south shores but I'm repeatedly placed on the east coast.

It's random, but for now there's only a couple of spawns on the east coast, as they want to do more 'testing' in the newer areas (which are in the north east)

Yeah, it's also to cut down slightly on the people just running to Balota to get fully geared.

Yeah, that's basically what I was looking to do. Didn't feel like running around for hours. Makes sense though.
