claxattack 0 Posted June 28, 2012 I have died more times in my first week of this game then im comfortable admitting. Be it bad luck, bandits, or just the plan zombie apocalypse, i could never get anything going. Maybe a pistol or crossbow 1soda/food i was having fun though. then this morning i hit the mother load m10 and a m911 in the same warehouse. after that i got 3sodas and 2 beans plus some bandages.I was on vent telling all my friends about it when i hear a player calling for help in game. i knew he had to be close and i did hear zeds lurking about. he repeated his distress call again and this time it actually sounded like he was in a panic so i make my way out to a vantage and i see a player followed by 4 zeds he has no weapon out so i see no harm in jumping to his aid. Upon telling him to circle to me on chat i take out the lead zombie then the second one then the third...and in one fucking hit the 4th zed breaks my leg. i didn't have any morphine, so at this point i kill the last zombie and the player thanks me. i give him my shotty since i wasn't sure if my friend was going to make it to me to help or not. the player laughs at me shots me in the head...i guess i learned my lesson when it comes to being a nice guy.Now after 3 spawns of getting screwed i have decided to call it a night before i smash my keyboard into the wall. all i can hope is the gaming gods look down on me favorable tomorrow for my good deed. I decided not to put the players name in this thread because its not his fault he is a tool; after all its the zombie apocalypse.
MEUQSACO 2 Posted June 28, 2012 Happens to all of us. I now kill anyone on sight who has a weapon, unless I'm sniping them I only take people who seems to be geared.
Psyl3nt 125 Posted June 28, 2012 I don't help anyone because of that, just lay low, let the Zeds take them out, loot corpse, profit. The only way I seem to stay alive is get the gear you need quick and careless, cause if you die with nothing / very little it's no biggy. Once you have enough (hatchet, handgun, ammo, bandages, painkillers, morphine, food, drink, canteen, hunting knife, matches) - head north, straight north deep bushland. Stay well away from any buildings unless you have no choice but to go there. The further you are from others the better.

I hope that guy gets hit by a bus IRL. It really takes a f*cked up mind to pull something like that, video game or not.
redsh1rt 24 Posted June 28, 2012 Trust should be earned. You gave him a gun because he thanked you for helping him. You learn something new each time you die, treat death as a learning experience.... Wait... Are we Cylons?!?!*Goes off to see if there are as many skins as there are Cylon models*
Emrico1__1 0 Posted June 28, 2012 Normally now, I shoot on sight. But.I had a really cool moment of truce last night.I was looting the tents in Starry when a guy must have spawned into a tent. When I went to go in we just both stopped and looked. I was going to shoot, then for some reason I didn't, neither did he. We sat face to face for ages before he wigged out and ran off.
nilloc93 19 Posted June 28, 2012 this is why the only people i will never shoot are the guys i met on garrysmod, people who need help can burn in a fire
claxattack 0 Posted June 28, 2012 yeah it definitely taught me that after i hit it big i just need to head for the hills, but as i read somewhere else...dont get attached to your gear/chr cause it wont last forever. but i cant wait to get back into it and see if i can do it again.
