Idea how to fix glitching

Recommended Posts

As the topic says, just paint the inner side of the buildings with black or other colour so you can not see through. ( This will work only for 'head' glitching )

Please inform yourself on how computer graphics work before you give advice to video game developers.

Isn't it just like using paint, where you can just hold down left mouse and color in a wall?

Actually that would work if one was to draw the backfaces of building polies.

Only that would probably end up in catastrophic performance drops ^^

They are not drawn for a reason, after all.

At the end of the day, it's probably a nicer idea just get collision detection straight and have that broadcasted to clients properly.

(Which is not a trivial thing to do, I would guess)

No to sloppy solutions, let them work, they will fix it.

Today one of our programmers fixed a bug that could allow a player to pass through walls. Looking forward to testing it out soon!

This is the situation, they change it, because they can't handle it.
