99 second spawn time

how come this happens with most servers i join? how come it isnt instant or under 10 seconds? jus curious

Cause you left within 30minutes of joining, this is a system to stop combat loggers.

Because a 10 second respawn is bull. "Damn, I died. Oh well. Better respawn, sprint back to my camping spot, and batter that guy to get my loot back" is stupid as stupid can be.

how about the please wait i see after the 99 seconds has gone by? is this a server thing where my comp is trying to connect?

I believe the problem is not waiting for the 99 seconds but what comes after. I usually need to exit after the 99 seconds and log in again and wait 30 seconds more to get in game.

How long are you waiting at please wait? Sometimes if takes seconds and sometimes it takes a minute or more. I don't know why though.

Same problem here.  When I connect to a server that has a delayed spawn as such, at the end of the countdown almost always I cannot join the game as it shows "Please wait..." indefinitely.  Why is it so?

I've been wondering the same thing. A bit new to DayZ. Thought it was just servers messing up, lol.
