Mosin Long Range Scope Question

Hi guys i am new in the forum and i would like to ask something. When i shoot with the mosin with long range scope on it even if i am in prone position with bipod opened still when i get the shot the weapon recoils too much it goes all the way up and i cant even see where the bullet hit. i mean i've see many vids in youtube and when they shoot it just goes a few inches up so the can see where they shoot. is there anything i can do?

It's the current reload animation, there's nothing you can do.  The video you saw was likely old.

 

There were talks by Hicks of implementing a button to hold to stall the reload animation so you can see your shot.

I think you are right i was likely old cause some items had different color like refreshments. its just difficult cause you make the shot u cant see where it land well mostly, so it gets more difficult to adjust zeroing!

Current bug. No dust kicking up is a bug…it'll be fixed.

It's not a bug. They added this in the last update, or the one before. Can't remember.

 

Basically when your character operates the bolt on the Mosin the reticule goes way up. Early versions didn't have that, so you probably saw some older videos on YT.

Your misunderstanding what I said, let me try again...

 

He can't see where the bullets are hitting when he's shooting prone because there is no dust kick-up on the ground from where the bullet hits [or misses its target] which is a confirmed bug. Hall or Hicks talks about it in their reddit.

Ahh yes, you're right. I didn't catch what you were referring to. My language proficiency played a trick on me there.  :) Yep, missing cloud of dust at the impact spot is a bug.
