M107 vs Lapua in DayZ Epoch Mod

Title says it, which one is better? tell my why you think the one you chose is better (give me facts about them also) better. also i play on 24/7 day server so dont say anything like use DMR or M10.

Lapua is .338

M107 is .50

Lapua is more accurate from what i have seen, and it seems cooler, so Lapua, or maybe a CZ-550?

I've used both, and I very much enjoy the Lapua better. I think it's a bit better, accuracy wise, and it may not be power, but it seems like it to me.

And the Lapua sounds awesome when it shoots, unlike the M107.

In the survival-horror genre (which is what DayZ is failing at but that's besides the point), bolt-action rifles are cool as hell.

 

The m107 is guaranteed 1-hit kill no matter where it hits a player/zombie to its maximum distance. It will 1-shot cars and helicopters.

The Lapua (if I believe correctly? haven't played any MOD mods in a while!) is also a 1-hit kill no matter what, or at least 1 hit kill everything other than, say, feet and hands. It won't total vehicles in 1 hit (but will still damage most), and its rate of fire is no where near that of the semi-automatic. It's main advantage, however, is that it doesn't make nearly as much noise! Players will have to be closer to hear the gunshot sound and zombies have to be closer to aggro.

From what i experienced so far the .338 and AS50 .50 round from OA are OP compared to the M107 .50 round and the .338 even penetrates avatars.

 

I shot a group of AI about 400m away with the .338 and saw a cloud of dust about 100m behind them indicating that the bullet penetrated the AI due to the fact that OA and ArmA 2 arent't really 100% compatible. We had that thermal issue with ArmA 2 units because they didn't have proper thermal signatures if i remember right.

Lapua, although both are very powerful (one shot kills on players) the lapua is more quiet and accurate while the m107 is much more loud but very effective against vehicles, the lapua being the 'wolf' and the m107 being the 'bear'
