Does an Arma II Ban carry over to DayZ Standalone?

Recommended Posts

Howdy! A while back I bought Arma 2 OA and played DayZ for a while until I got banned for God knows what - and wasn't granted an appeal. I am looking into buying the DayZ Stand Alone version on Steam, but I am curious if the ban will carry over. I understand both games run BattlEye, but I am unfamiliar on how it manages bans. Does BE ban CD keys alone? Or does it take in account steam IDs and such.

If I buy DayZ Standalone on the same Steam account, will it get automatically banned?

Thank you!

Thank you!

Also, before anybody says anything, I am aware that there are topics already about this - but the more the merrier!

I am looking forward to playing DayZ again!

Cheers!

No.

The less needless topics, the merrier.

Useful threads get pushed off the first page when you can't be bothered to seach and/or post in the correct forum area.

Welcome to the forums though.

Locked.
