Mediarty 9 Posted May 8, 2014 Hello Users, i wrote a serverconfig which restarts the server every 3 hours. which command is the best to restart? i just used #restart. I have seen that the restart then takes a longer time as if I do a restart in the admin backend of my provider. Is there a better way to restart faster? becaus the players think that we stay offline and they join other servers. If i restart by admin panel they will join again after restart. Does someone know a better way to restart via RCON command?What is happening if I type #reassign. I tried it once and fo me nothing is different. Unsure about SA, but on ARMA it restarts the mission and is not the way to restart a server properly. To do it properly and ensure the best performance make sure to use the Admin-Panel to restart, even thought it should be on 4 hour restart cycle anyway. If you want to do it the same way the adminpanel does it, use #shutdown The server will come back up eventually and be properly restarted.
