m1014 reloading

Maybe this was posted before, but I found an M1014 and I can't reload it. I had a full magazine from picking it up but now that I logged off I can't load the weapon. I've tried all types of shotgun ammo, but it doesn't work. Has anyone solved this problem yet?

Can you expand on this a bit? Do you have your ammo on your character screen and not in your backpack? Make sure the ammo is the correct one by hovering the mouse over it and reading what guns it can fit into.

No it's definitely on my character. All ammo says it's for the m1014 but it won't load.
