On topic: yeah that shit happens. I join random server and there's literally no loot at all. Even not junk. Just try joining another server.

Seriously though, I think the issue has to do with the way loot only spawns if nothing is on the spawn location. So people take what is useful, and leave the trash.

Then the next time loot spawns it only spawns in the locations not covered with trash, next guy takes what is useful, leaves the trash, until eventually every spawn location is covered with trash and nothing spawns.

Edit: to the lolnoob comments, I could just re-arm at my camp but I wanted to see just how badly rocket was fucking over newbies after seeing 1000+ complaint posts.
