A bandit is a playerkiller. Each player starts out with humanity level 2500. Healing people rewards you humanity points, damaging people reducts humanity points. If you kill another player you'll most likely turn into a bandit, unless you've been helpful to other players.

When you turn bandit, you switch player model. The current player model used is a KSK desert uniform with a balaclava. To change back into a survivor, you have to either help other people or avoid damaging them.
