me and roommate lag after 20 mins or so

So it seems like whichever one joins second always starts to lag after about 15 or 20 mins. The first person who joins doesn't have the problem. It starts out smooth then after a while sold yellow chain for a few then solid red chain for the second person to join. Have to keep reloading the server. Any ideas? I already changed the port launch setting.

Make sure that one of you guys is adding a "-port=2320" to your launchparameters, otherwise you're trying to use the same port and you're on the same network - which would not be a good idea.

 

Only one of you adds that to your launchparameters in Steam by rightclicking the game -> Properties -> Set Launch Paramaters.

 

Then you will be fine.

I tried that with something other than 2320. I try this number.

Seems to be working better with these numbers. I did that but was told other port numbers. Thank you.
