Garful 21 Posted June 26, 2012 My suggestion is to rework tents so that when they are flattened, all the loot goes on the ground instead of poofing. If that becomes too much of an issue, then I would suggest them being indestructible is better than how they currently work.I'll admit. It was amusing as hell flattening people's camps after I took the few items I wanted, knowing they'd most likely rage when they got back. And when it happened to my clan's camps, I was able to brush it off as part of the game. However, the ease of destroying someone's camp doesn't match the difficulty of building it. Here's my reasons for desiring this suggestion:1) It's a bit more realistic. Hitting a camping tent with an ATV will not destroy everything within it.2) If they cannot be destroyed, then people who find the camps may have to make multiple runs. This could lead to interesting conflicts as clans find people scavenging their campsite.3) Obviously, your FAL most likely will be gone, but having those 4 maps and cooked meat you had stashed away for friends who tend to have to respawn a lot gives you something to rebuild with (in b4 carebear comments). There's tons of other minor points I could make to support this suggestion, but those are the primary. To summarize, if all items were not destroyed with a tents destruction, it would be more realistic, could help generate territorial conflicts, and help justify the time it takes to build a camp site and stock up on items. pwnage13371 147 Posted June 26, 2012 It should all go to the ground no matter what.
Bo0G 7 Posted June 26, 2012 I kind of agree (even though I had a blast mowing down this one campsite...)If you want to completely pillage a camp site, you shouldn't be able to do so with a "make everything de-spawn" mentality. It should be more of a "take as much with me as I can" sort of thing, I think.Still, even if tents were indestructible, people would just pull everything out of the tent and drop it on the ground to despawn anyway so...
