Cannot play MY character?

So the issue i'm having is that DayZ standalone has been purchased by two Steam Users on my pc.

The issue is that when i, who just recently bought the game, sign in and play, at the bottom right it says my friends steam name and not mine. Is there a way that I can make it so it says my steam name, or are we both going to be the same person?

Just click on the name on the bottom right and change the name.
