DayZ Mod: Keyboard stops working after several minutes

Hey guys, TIC here and I've been having a problem with the DayZ mod where my keyboard stops working after awhile.. This can lead to a lot of complications for me such as being attacked by someone and all of a sudden I cannot move then getting killed as a result.

 

Any suggestions of what this may be? I'm using a wireless Logitech keyboard and don't have any problems with doing any other things or playing different games. It's just DayZ.
