Better Inventory Interaction Since Patch?

Iv noticed that since this new patch I don't have to right click something in my inv 8 times to get the context menu up. Sometimes there is a small delay but I can chalk that up to my connection being crap. OK so iv had a can of drink that never ended...but that's the only issue. Apart from that its a big improvement.

 

Is it to do with the guaranteed network messaging?

 

If so kudos devs....best new feature so far, cant express enough how irritating it was to have to click so many times :)

I'd put my money on GNM's. ;D

It is the new server messaging system. Hopefully it is ported to A3 or the next Arma as i'm sure this sort of stuff happened in the arma games.

Yeah, I think a lot of the stuff we see pioneered in dayz could find its way into future arma games. Imagine an arma game with a detailed vehicle repair system. Or a battlefield full of hungry soldiers with uh-60's dropping food crates. Not to mention network improvements like this one :)

One thing i would love to have ported from A3 though is the inventory based on volume.

The guaranteed messages really are a godsent. I was amazed when I played on the 100 player servers and they ran smoother than the 40 player servers without GNM.

 

It's a huge step forward in my opinion.
