Those times when you forget your playing the SA :)

I was having a go on SA last night,  after about an hour or so I find myself running through the woods. In the distance I see some power lines that cross my path. I instantly drop to crouch, and begin approaching the middle of the gap between 2 pylons scanning for zombies.

 

I leave a bush close to the wire and start crouch walking under them.....so I wont startle the zeds. I clear the wire completely baffeled as to why I haven't seen one zombie....then it hits me....your on the SA.

 

What a waste of a tactical power line crossing lol :)

 

Anyone else got any facepalm moments where they forgot they were in the SA?

I do as well but not because I forgot I am playing SA; because they might have actually fixed it in the latest patch. Log cabins now spawn loot btw.

Deerstands are what keep getting me.. Everytime I look in one, I facepalm.

I honestly never new about deerstands and kept looking. I avoided useing internet maps and loot tables. After playing to mod to DEATH since the days of spawning with pistols in vanilla i wanted my SA experince to be a fresh start and learn as i go.
