... Any chance of raising the player limit in the server hosting rules?

I definitely had my best DayZ experience to date in the 100 player lag-free-desync-free experimental servers last week...

I'm pretty sure many more feel the same  ;)

i personally have the feeling that a lot of stable servers with 40 players dont run as smooth as the 100 player servers on experimental. sometimes it takes over 30 seconds to drink or eat.

Putting weapons away sometimes takes ages too.

I wonder if the EXP servers are more powerful than the rentables. Really dont know what causes these problems.

One could definitely imagine the developers giving more "juice" to they're own test servers, then what they are telling hosting companies to use tbh.

Perhaps they are even increasing/decreasing resources on the experimental servers, as part of the testing, to see how they perform and pinpoint exactly what they need to run smooth.

I to have no idea, just spitballing here hehe.

Actually, Rocket has stated somewhere that experimental gets the bare-bones specs for servers and such because if it runs on the poor specs, it's guaranteed to run on the normal server specs.

I think it's just because of the location of the servers. Try playing on the ones that say "Multiplay Game Hosting" or whatever, as they are official servers rented by Bohemia.
